1. Hedrick Summit
If you’re looking to live in a dormitory that is a bit off campus, then Hedrick Summit is perfect. Each room wired for Internet and Cable TV, floor lounges, recreation and study space, laundry facilities. The rooms are big and spacious, which is ideal for students who want to live in a comfortable environment. There are also study lounges where students can relax or study with other residents. While it doesn’t have any fitness centers or pools, it does have its own basketball court but tenants can make use of the fitness room and variety of amenities in Hedrick Hall immediately adjacent to Hedrick Summit. This dormitory is best suited for students who want to live in an independent setting but still be close enough to campus so they don’t feel isolated from their peers.

This dormitory also has its own laundry facilities and it’s close to the De Neve Plaza residential restaurant. It’s one of UCLA’s best dormitories because it offers both social activities as well as academic ones. It also provides a comfortable environment that allows students to focus on their studies without being distracted by other students who may be partying or living in an unruly manner. Each room is wired for Internet and Cable TV as well. Residents also have easy access to 24-hour front desk, computer labs, De Neve Plaza residential restaurant, recreation and study space.

4. De Neve Gardenia & Holly

This dormitory is best suited for students who are looking to be independent and prefer to focus on their studies rather than living in a social environment. The original six buildings (A-F) are configured to house students in triple and double-occupancy rooms. Laundry facilities and a lounge are located in each building. If you want to live in a social environment with many other students in your age group, then Sproul Hall is perfect for you.
