2. Clark Hall

Built-in 1958, Clark Hall is home to first-year students known as the Clark Sharks! Clark Hall has everything you need for an awesome first-year experience, including an awesome RA staff and Hall Director. 4. Colby Hall

Colby Hall, the only all-women’s residence hall on campus for first-year students, has reopened sometime around 2015 with brand new amenities. The hall opened after being closed for 14 months of construction and has reclaimed its status as an all-women’s hall. It consists of double, triple, and private occupancy bedrooms.

5. Sherley Hall

Sherley Hall was built in 1958 as an all-female dorm. As part of its effort to create an entirely residential campus, Texas Christian University completely renovated Sherley Hall and converted it to a co-ed facility to house 314 first-year students. Men and women residents are divided into wings over three floors with a central common area on each floor. In addition to a variety of exterior improvements, Beck’s construction team added new study areas, a new front lobby, and lounge areas with large LCD TV screens.
