There are a lot going when you are in college. Things could get out of hand and become a distraction in your life. Follow these tips to help you clear your mind while you are in college so you can focus on what is important.
1. Start Unfollowing
There are a lot of people out there that could be a distraction. Unfollow people who do not make you feel empowered, informed or inspired.
2. Be Selectively Social
Being selectively social means intentionally keeping your local social circle small. This could help you prioritize and build connections that last forever.
3. Live in the Moment
Remember you cannot change the past but you can shape the present. Stay grounded in the present and shift your focus to things that are within your control.
4. Eat Healthy
Now is not the time to binge eat and take out all your emotions on food. If you must do so, make sure you do it in a healthy way.
5. Meditate Alone
Enjoy some self time practice meditation in a dark room at the midnight while listening to nature sounds such as thunder or rain. This will help calm your mind.
6. Take a trip
Enjoy the sights and sounds of nature, soak into the serene environment and forget about your city life and all your worries.
