Picking courses to take can be a challenging task for anyone. Most classes require long hours of study and also a lot of research and homework. There are easy courses you can take for lesser study hours and a good grade. Here are some fun and easy classes at Georgia State.

1. ARTS 2015 – Photography

This course is an introduction to photography. Students will gain a better understanding of photography as an art form. Topics to be discussed include terminology, the fundamentals of photography, taking a good photo, and equipment.

What exactly is out there beyond our world? This course will introduce students to astronomical studies. Students will learn about the solar system, planets, satellites that orbit the earth, and the origin of the universe. Students will also learn about early ideas about the universe.

This course will cover the fundamentals and principles of chemistry. Students will learn about the tools learned in laboratories, composition of matter (gas, liquid, and solid), stoichiometry, periodic tables, chemical compounds, and nomenclature.

6. ENVS 2202 – Environmental Science

This course is an introduction to environmental science. Students will gain knowledge in areas focused on chemistry, biology, ecology, geology, and other non-science fields as they relate to environmental science. This course will cover issues in the environment and resolutions to solve them.

7. MUSC 1006 – Perspectives On Music And Society

How does music impact the world we live in? In this course, students will learn about music and society. This course will cover historical contexts, social movements, musical genres, political movements, and how many artists have portrayed their own perspectives of the world in their music.

8. GEOL 1125 – Physical Geology

Have you ever wondered about the physical attributes of earth? This course will introduce to the physical geology of our planet. Topics to be discussed include rocks, minerals, plate tectonics, bodies of water, stream systems, an introduction to reading and interpreting maps.

9. PSYC 1001 – Perspectives on the Human Mind

Why do people behave and think differently? This course will introduce students to the field of psychology and the human mind. Students will learn about human emotions, learning a language, morality, thinking, social interaction, and human behavior.

10. CRJU 3247 – Hip Hop Culture & Crime In America

This course will introduce students to hip-hop’s impact on the criminal justice system and crime in America. Students will learn about the political, racial, and economic impacts of this musical genre. Students will also learn about the hip-hop culture among other topics in this course.
