Everyone must be talking about NCAA football in August since college football is starting soon. Every year, each school competes to be one of the best. This year is no different. Here are the NCAA Football 2018 preseason top 10.
1) University of Alabama – Crimson Tide
The defending national champions have two quarterbacks, Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa to lead a talented offence. However, Alabama needs to replace some big names on defense.
2) Clemson University – Tigers
Clemson Tigers defense, particularly the super talented front four, will be among the best in the country. But the Tigers need to settle on Kelly Bryant or Trevor Lawrence at quarterback.
3) University of Georgia – The Bulldogs
Quarterback Jake Fromm will look to build on a strong freshman season and should be in the Heisman conversation from the start. Kirby Smart need to retool his defense.
4) University of Oklahoma – The Sooners
The Oklahoma Sooners need to find their replacement for Baker Mayfield and it might be talented Kyler Murray. Oklahoma’s offense should be among the nation’s most explosive.
5) University of Wisconsin Madison – The Badgers
Running back Jonathan Taylor is serious Heisman contender and quarterback Alex Hornibrook continues to get better. The Badgers travel to Iowa, Michigan and Penn State.
6) Ohio State University – The Buckeyes
Sophomore Dwayne Haskins takes over at quarterback. The Ohio State Buckeyes have one of the top defensive players in the country in en Nick Bosa. On offense, running back J.K Dobbins returns.
7) University of Washington – The Huskies
The Washington Huskies’ roster is loaded, led by quarterback Jake Browning and running back Myles Gaskin. Washington opens with a tough test against Auburn.
8) Auburn University – The Tigers
Quarterback Jarrett Stidham had a good first season with the Auburn Tigers and should be even better. A tough SEC schedule awaits, with games at Georgia and Alabama.
9) University of Miami – The Hurricanes
Mark Richt has the Miami Hurricanes back on the national stage. Malik Rosier, who threw for 3120 yards and 26 touchdowns last season is also back. The defense should also be very strong this year.
10) Penn State University – Nittany Lions
Quarterback Trace McSorley could be a Heisman contender and the schedule is favorable, with Ohio State, Michigan State, Iowa and Wisconsin coming to State College.
